Curtis Good of Irvine is the Board's president. Mr. Good is president of Newport Exterminating, a company he has owned since 1982. He is a member of the Urban Pest Management Center of California and the Pest Control Operators of California. Mr. Good is an industry member appointed by the Governor, whose term expires June 1, 2013.

Dave Tamayo is the Board's vice president. Mr. Tamayo is an Environmental Specialist with the Sacramento County Stormwater Program. He develops and implements programs to reduce discharges of pollutants (including pesticides, mercury, copper, and bacteria) to creeks and rivers. He serves as the County IPM coordinator, and is a member of the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control Board of Trustees, the City of Sacramento Parks and Recreation Commission, DPR's Pest Management Advisory Committee, US EPA's Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee, and National Pest Management Association's GreenPro Advisory Committee. Prior to working for the County, Mr. Tamayo owned a wholesale seafood business, and was an electrician and whitewater raft guide. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in zoology, and is currently a graduate student in entomology at the University of Florida. Mr. Tamayo is a public member appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly, whose term expires June 1, 2012.

Cris Arzate of Los Angeles is the Program Director for One Economy Corporation. The Bring IT Home California program cultivates collaborative and sustainable digital inclusion programs in nine underserved urban and rural areas throughout California. Mr. Arzate has directed numerous collaborative programs within the non-profit, K-12 and higher education sectors. He is the founder of TWELVECO, a community development consultancy that provides professional services to the small business, nonprofit and higher education sectors. Mr. Arzate received his Bachelor of Arts from U.C. Berkeley and is an alumni of the Coro Foundation Fellowship in Public Affairs and the Management Development Program at Harvard University. His dedication to public education and civic engagement earned him an appointment by the President of the Board of Education for the Los Angeles Unified School District to the Human Relations, Diversity, and Equity Council where he serves as Interim Chair. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and golfing with family and friends. Mr. Arzate is a public member appointed by the Senate Rules Committee, whose term expires June 1, 2012.

Clifford Utley of Yucaipa is president of Cliff's Pest Control, Inc., and has worked for the family owned business since 1994. Prior to his career in pest control, he was a journeyman sheet metal worker and an apprentice sheet metal worker for the Santa Fe Railway from 1972 to 1992. He is a member of the San Bernardino, Highland, Redlands and Yucaipa Chambers of Commerce and serves on the Board for the California State University, San Bernardino Athletics Association. Mr. Utley is an industry member appointed by the Governor, whose term expires June 1, 2011.
