Examinations

 

APPLICATOR INFORMATION

Applicator examination applicants will continue to mail an examination/license application to the Board, along with the required fee. Once the applicant has been approved for testing by the Board, an Applicator Examination Notification will be mailed to the applicant. After the applicant receives the examination notification, he or she will contact the county's agricultural commissioner's office and schedule their examination in the county of their choice. Please contact your county office for the Applicator examination schedule.

FIELD REPRESENTATIVE INFORMATION

Beginning March 2014, the Structural Pest Control Board's (Board) Field Representative and Operator examinations will be conducted via computer based testing. The Board will no longer hold monthly testing at the San Bernardino and Sacramento locations. Once approved, candidates will now be able to schedule their examination date and time and choose from 17 locations in California or 22 locations nationwide.

Field Representative and Operator examination applicants will continue to mail an examination application to the Board, along with the required fee. Once the applicant has been approved for testing by the Board, a Candidate Handbook will be mailed to the applicant. After the applicant receives the Candidate Handbook, he or she will contact the computer based testing vendor, PSI, and schedule their examination at a location of their choice.
