Kyle Finley, of Loomis, is the Board President and the founder and owner of Twin Termite and Pest Control since 2007 with 4 offices from Sacramento to San Diego. Mr. Finley has been the President of Sacramento Association of Realtors Young Professionals, Treasurer with the Women's Council of Realtors, is a current member of PCOC and currently sits on the board of several non-profit organizations helping at risk youth locally and internationally.
Derek Devermont, ESQ
Derek Devermont is the Board Vice President. Mr. Devermont is an attorney who specializes in disability advocacy. He has taken many cases pro bono (without charge) in the fields of disability and criminal defense when he felt there had been a grave injustice. He is one of California's elected representative members to the Democratic National Committee. He also is a delegate to the California Democratic Party (CDP) and sits on the CDP's Rules Committee. Derek is an avid martial artist and ran a martial arts gym that focused on providing martial arts to those in need. Many children and adults trained without charge.
Curtis Good of Irvine is president of Newport Exterminating, a company he has owned since 1982. He is a member of the Urban Pest Management Center of California and the Pest Control Operators of California. Mr. Good is an industry member appointed by the Governor, whose term expires June 1, 2021.
Nicky Kapadia, of Newport Beach, has been an independent International Business Relations Specialist since 2015 and a Real Estate Broker since 1995. She was Director of Business Development at News India Times from 2019 to 2020. Kapadia is a member of Global Organization of People of Indian Origin, GOPIO International Chamber of Commerce, The Indus Entrepreneurs and the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Magali Flores Nunez
Magali Flores Nunez, of Los Angeles, has been ReadyNation California Deputy State Director at the Council for a Strong America since 2019. Ms. Flores Núñez was Executive Outreach Associate at The Children’s Partnership from 2016 to 2017. She was Constituent Advocate at the Office of Los Angeles City Councilmember Mike Bonin in 2016. Ms. Flores Núñez was a Community Health Outreach Coordinator at Mission City Community Network from 2014 to 2015. She was College Advisor at the East Bay Consortium from 2011 to 2013. Flores Núñez earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Janet Thrasher, of Los Gatos is the co-founder and owner of Thrasher Termite & Pest Control, Inc., established in 1979. Ms. Thrasher has been involved with the Santa Clara Valley District, Pest Control Operators of California (PCOC) for over 25 years and has been the district chairperson for most of the last 10 years. In 2014 Ms. Thrasher became an elected board member for the PCOC insurance committee. She is a member of the National Pest Management Association, Professional Women in Pest Management, and Silicon Valley Association of Realtors. Thrasher Termite & Pest Control is accredited by QualityPro, the industry’s leading pest management credentialing program. In honor of her late husband, in 2000 she founded The Duff Thrasher Memorial Youth Fund, a non-profit organization for charitable, educational, and youth sports-oriented purposes. Ms. Thrasher is an industry member appointed by the Governor, serving a four year term.
